Are you ready to hear the tea on Shein from an unbiased truth from a broke college student just trying to look fashionable on a budget?

First off when I clicked onto the website, the layout has clean categories and layout, but it was a tad bit busy with all of the sale signs. Once you click on a category, the website was very crispy and clear on the items. It’s stepped up very similarly to Forever21’s and GS-Love’s home pages. I love that on each item there is a size chart that you can use to guide you on sizing of each individual piece. Shein is an Asian-based website, but when I ordered, I found each item to be true to size and good quality. I ordered three items from Shein: a tribal print off-the-shoulder top, a flowy leaf dress, and a tassel crossbody bag.

I love the summer time heat because I get to wear shorts and off-the shoulder tops, which is why I’m loving that they came back in style this season. I saw this top on the Shein website, and I absolutely fell in love with the design! Once my items arrived, I noticed that the top was a tad bit thin, but what can you expect when you order an item that is mainly white? Otherwise, the item fitted perfectly in length and wasn’t too tight across my arms.

This has to be my favorite purchase from my order. I’m literally obsessed with it and I was so shocked on how great quality that item is. My biggest worry with purchasing this dress was the fit and the sheerness of the item, since it’s white. Not to fret though because the dress fit perfectly and was even double lined so you can’t see anything through the material! The straps aren’t adjustable, but they are the perfect length on me.  Definitely a must purchase, if you love this item as much as I do! Its such a versatile piece that you can dress it up or down with a pair of heels or some sandals and a jean jacket. For reference, I am 5’1” and the dress comes to a little above my knees, so if you’re taller than me, then this dress might be a little short on you.

Tassel Crossbody Bag ($21.15-click here to purchase!)

I’m not the one who usually carries a purse and if I do, it’s typically a large purse. It’s almost like I feel like I have to make up for my small size with a larger handbag to balance the look. But I’m loving tassels for the summer time and this purse just screamed me, so of course I had to get it. It’s pretty good quality for the price and the strap is adjustable so that you can change the length as you please.

Shipping: My order came in about a week after ordering and the processing time.

Final Thoughts

For the super low prices and pretty quick shipping, you really can’t beat the deals that you can find on Shein. It’s a great website to try out new trends or different styles you wouldn’t normally buy in-stores! I was really impressed with my first order from Shein, especially since I had such low hopes for the quality of the items I bought. The best tip that I can give you when ordering from Shein is to use the size measurements as a guide to decide what you size you’ll need (it’s really accurate!) and to check out the reviews/photos for each item. You can learn a lot by reading the reviews and seeing how the piece looks on different body types, or at least that’s really helpful for me when I’m shopping online.

In this post, I want to give you my honest review on LBVK Unlimited so you can also get some trendy pieces to dress up your summer outfits!

Shipping

The processing time took about 3 days, then once the company mailed my package, it came in about 2 days. LBVk Unlimited sent my package through Priority Mail so the shipping was really quick!

Cost

The silver necklace is called Alyssa (retail price $15.99) and the denim choker is called Kylie (retail price $15.99).

Package

Once I opened my package, I was astonished to see the care that was put into my package and the design of it. Each necklace was in gold tissue paper with a gold logo sticker inside a white box to keep each necklace safe and sound, during shipment. My package also came with a personal thank you note thanking me for ordering from them that was handwritten.  

Quality

I ordered two different types of necklaces from LBVK Unlimited. One was the distressed denim choker that I mentioned before and the second one was a silver choker that is also gorgeous. The silver neck is such high quality, way better than I had expected. While the denim choker is also good quality and the denim feels well-worn, but I do wish the clash and the chain of the necklace was better quality. That part of the necklace feels pretty cheap, I have to be honest.

Sizing

There is a sizing chart on the website under each necklace’s description so all you got to do is measure your neck size and compare it to the chart to get the perfect fit. For the silver necklace, I was able to use the sizing chart. But for the denim choker, you have the option to leave a note to the company on what size that you need the necklace to be, since each one is different. I accidently ordered the denim choker slightly too big, but that was totally my fault and not the seller’s. It still fits so no worries, I can make it work for my needs!

But alas, you didn’t come here for me to ramble about why I’ve been gone. You want to see the next installment of Fashion Friday’s! In the look for today, I am wearing a maxi dress that my mom actually picked up for me a few years ago from Target that I never had a reason to wear until now. It’s a lot of fun to wear since there are two slits on the sides and fun pattern on the top. I am also rocking some earrings that my mom also got me from South Africa (Thanks mom for the fashion items, you the plug!). I am also wearing a silver necklace with my boyfriend’s name and rocking Target slides, which are the comfiest thing in the world!

For today’s look, I am here with an outfit from H&M. I love a lot of different types of styles, but my one true love is a fun T-shirt and some comfy shorts. The best part about H&M is that they are totally affordable! My shirts and shorts were only $22! Crazy, right? This would be the perfect outfit just to hang out with friends or go shopping.
