It’s Electric Mural

I’m not sure what this mural is actually called, but every time that I see it, it reminds me of a colorful electric shock or electric current of some sort. You can find this beautiful mural in the heart of downtown Columbia on the corner of Main Street and Taylor Street. Stop by some fabulous ice cream at Sweet Cream Company or stop by the dozens of local eateries that are also yummy.

Pebbles Wing Shack on Rosewood

This mural is actually on the side of a local restaurant in town and is a great spot to sit outside and grab some dope wings for lunch. The restaurant is also right down the street from the USC Football stadium and across the street from the USC Track & Field.

The Barbershop

I accidently found this mural one day on the side of a local barber shop, which of course fits the theme of the artwork. This mural is hidden in a parking lot, across the street from a gas station. The building is pretty small so keep your eye out if you’re looking for this one.

Pelican’s Snoball

This one is a stunning picture of someone (I’m not positive on who), but this mural is painted on the side of the Pelican’s location on Rosewood. I’m sure if you ask the employees about the mural, they’ll have more inside knowledge of the history of the mural.

The Water Mural

This cool water mural is located on the side of Tobacco Hookah House on Rosewood. It’s so large that I could barely get the entire mural in frame to take a photo of it! Between the colors and the design, this mural is definitely one of my favorites.

The Chopped-Up Fox

You can this mural on the side of the Cigar Box location on Rosewood. As you can tell you can find some great art work just driving down Rosewood Drive. This mural is a little graphic in the fact that the artwork details a bunny chopping up a fox. The Water Mural is across the street from this one, if you’re looking to see both.

Five Points Postcard

Five Points is a local hotspot, where there’s plenty of bars, great food, and even better clothing stores. It’s right down the street from multiple different college campuses. This massive mural celebrates everything that Soda City is and is great spot to stop by if you’re in town. It’s located right across the street from a local water fountain and a Starbucks location.

Tunnel Vision

The Tunnel Vision mural is another massive mural that decorates the side of the Landbank Lofts in the downtown part of Columbia. This mural is well-known in the city of Columbia so it’s only right that you take a picture in front of it whenever you stop in town.

Immaculate Consumption Mural

Grab some great food at Immaculate Consumption while you sit and admire this gorgeous mural on the side of the building. This mural reminds a little bit of a solar eclipse mixed in with Aztec vibes. What do you think?

Discovery Mural

The Discovery Mural represents Columbia’s past and present-day history, and it’s a beautiful site to see. You might forget about this mural, especially when you’re fighting for a parking spot for either Five Guys or Flying Saucer. But here’s a friendly reminder to take a second to admire the mural before filling your belly.

Lady Vista Mural

This mural is fairly new to the scene, but it’s definitely a site to see. You can find this mural on the side of Sure Fire Tacos and Urban Outfitters. Unfortunately, the parking lot is normally full so you may not be able to get a full body shot with this mural for Instagram.

Enjoy the Little Things Mural

Looking for an Instagram perfect mural? Then look no further than this mural located on the side of a local convenience store in town of Cayce (a smaller area of Columbia). It’s super trendy and has a fabulous message on it that’s sure to make you feel better about life!
